Psychological Symptoms

  • Feeling of hopelessness

  • Loss of meaning

  • A negative and pessimistic view of the future

Physical Symptoms

  • Weight loss and reduced appetite (sometimes the opposite)

  • Sleep disturbances, problems getting up in the morning

  • Pressure and tightness in throat, tightness in the chest

  • Severe sweating, heart palpitation

  • Chronic pain similar to rheumatic disease

  • Sexual disinterest

  • Difficulty initiating activity

  • Fast exhaustibility

Behavioural Symptoms

  • Withdrawal from social life

  • Being agitated

  • Changes in speech and body language

  • Lack of motivation, apathy
